Dr. Gurpinderjeet Kaur is a board-certified optometrist specializing in medical optometry, dry eye disease, and myopia management. Recognized by Newsweek as one of the Top 200 Doctors in the USA, Dr. Kaur brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a passion for patient-centered care to the Bonney Lake community.
A Northwest native, Dr. Kaur earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Washington. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Her advanced training continued with a residency in ocular disease at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, where she also became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO).
Dr. Kaur has served on staff at the Cleveland VA Hospital and held adjunct faculty positions at both the Illinois College of Optometry and The Ohio State College of Optometry.
She is among the top 10% of optometrists nationally who are fellowship-trained in medical optometry, allowing her to manage complex ocular conditions, eye emergencies, and surgical comanagement with exceptional skill. She has authored multiple clinical publications and is highly regarded for her commitment to evidence-based care.

Dr. Lily Sun is a compassionate and highly trained optometrist dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care with a personalized touch. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
During her time at ICO, Dr. Sun was inducted into both the Tomb and Key Honor Society and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, a testament to her academic excellence and commitment to the field.
Dr. Sun’s clinical training is both broad and in-depth, with externship experience spanning private practices and hospitals across the United States. Her areas of expertise include contact lens fittings, myopia management, primary eye care, and surgical co-management. She further honed her skills through a competitive residency in ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, where she gained extensive experience managing complex and sight-threatening eye conditions.
Dr. Sun brings a thoughtful and thorough approach to patient care and is passionate about helping individuals maintain clear, comfortable, and healthy vision.
