What Is A Scleral Lens?
Scleral contact lenses are large-diameter custom-designed hard contact lenses for a variety of corneal conditions. If you have been told that you are not an ideal candidate for contact lenses, scleral contact lenses may be right for you.
If you have any of the following eye conditions, scleral contact lenses may be right for you:
- Keratoconus
- Severe dry eyes
- Corneal deformities
- If you are unable to get good vision with regular contact lenses
Hybrid Contact Lenses
Combine Comfort and Clear VisionHybrid contact lenses are large-diameter contact lenses with rigid gas permeable center and soft outer edge. They can be used to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.
Hybrid lenses are a great choice for people who want to be able to see more clearly than they can with soft lenses but have difficulty wearing gas permeable (hard) contact lenses.
