There is no treatment for dry eye macular degeneration. Wet macular degeneration occurs when there is a fluid that leaks under the macula causing blurry vision. If detected early, wet macular degeneration can be treated with intraocular injections. Studies have linked vitamins containing nutrients like lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc to reducing the risk of progression of macular degeneration.
